Frequently Asked Questions

What areas do you service?

Apex AirCare proudly serves Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, and Southern Maine, providing on-site aircraft detailing at hangars, FBOs, and private airfields across New England.

Do you offer mobile service?

Yes. Our team is fully mobile and can detail your aircraft wherever it’s parked — on the ramp or inside a hangar. We bring all necessary tools, products, and equipment directly to you.

Are you available 24/7?

Absolutely. We provide 24/7 on-call and emergency support for time-sensitive requests, last-minute flights, or contamination events. When you need your aircraft ready to go, we’re ready.

What types of aircraft do you service?

We work with single-engine props, turboprops, light jets, midsize jets, large-cabin business jets and helicopters. Every service is tailored to the aircraft’s unique materials and specifications.

What detailing packages do you offer?

We offer three primary categories of service:
Interior Detailing: Vacuuming, leather care, glass cleaning, galley and lav sanitation, steam disinfection, and odor removal.
Exterior Detailing: Dry wash, bug removal, paint polishing, brightwork care, and sealant application.
Specialty Add-Ons: Ozone treatments, deep carpet extraction, monthly maintenance, and quick-turn cleans.

Custom packages are available for owners, operators, and charter fleets.

How long does each service take?

Times vary depending on the aircraft size and service level:
Quick Turn Clean: 30–60 minutes
Standard Detail (Interior + Exterior): 3–5 hours
Full Detail or Deep Clean: 6–10 hours
We’ll always provide an estimated timeframe before arrival.

Do you use aviation-approved products?

Yes — all cleaning solutions, polishes, and protectants are aviation-approved, non-corrosive, and eco-friendly, ensuring complete safety for your paint, brightwork, and interior materials.

Can you work directly with my FBO or maintenance provider?

Yes. We frequently coordinate with FBOs, flight departments, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless access, efficient scheduling, and minimal downtime.

Do you need access to water or power?

No — our mobile detailing units are fully self-contained, equipped with everything required for interior and exterior cleaning. We can operate anywhere on the ramp or in a hangar.

Can you remove odors or smoke smells?

Yes. We specialize in odor elimination and cabin sanitation using steam and ozone treatment. This process neutralizes smoke, food, and musty odors without leaving residue or artificial scents.

Do you offer regular maintenance programs?

Yes. Many clients choose scheduled monthly or quarterly maintenance packages to keep their aircraft consistently flight-ready. These programs can include hangar “dust & wipe” visits, cabin resets, or periodic deep cleans.

Do you handle quick-turn or last-minute flights?

All the time. Our Quick Turn Cleaning service is designed for short layovers and unexpected departures. We can refresh interiors, restock supplies, and clean exterior leading edges within tight timeframes.

Can I book recurring services for multiple aircraft?

Yes. We work with individual owners, charter operators, and fleet managers. We can tailor multi-aircraft service plans that align with your flight schedules and operational needs.

Do you work in all weather conditions?

For exterior detailing, we assess conditions case-by-case. Most exterior work is performed in hangars or covered areas, while interior detailing can be done year-round regardless of weather.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept credit/debit cards, ACH transfers, and digital invoices. For contract clients and regular operators, we offer simple recurring billing options.

Can you help prepare an aircraft for sale or delivery?

Yes. We offer pre-sale and delivery detailing to ensure your aircraft makes the best possible impression. This includes full interior and exterior reconditioning, brightwork polish, and odor removal.

How far in advance should I schedule a service?

We recommend scheduling 1 week in advance, but we also accommodate same-day or overnight requests whenever possible. Contract clients receive priority scheduling.

What makes Apex AirCare different from other detailers?

Our difference is in the standards we hold. We’re aviation-focused, not automotive — meaning every process, product, and technique we use is tailored for aircraft safety and appearance.
We’re also available 24/7, fully mobile across New England, and committed to the philosophy of Excellence in Every Detail.
